The Church of St. Michael the Archangel is located in Borgata Marina, the coastal hamlet of Torino di Sangro overlooking the Adriatic Sea. It is a relatively recent church, part of a settlement that developed along the coast after World War II, and plays an important role in the devotional life of the coastal community.
The annual feast of St. Michael the Archangel is celebrated on August 9–10 in the height of summer—a choice typical of seaside communities, which allows residents and vacationers to come together for the patron saint’s celebrations. The program includes a procession of the saint through the streets of Marina, liturgical celebrations, evening musical entertainment, and moments of communal festivity just steps from the sea.
The church is part of the pastoral unit under the parish of Santo Stefano in Rivo Maris della Marina.

This small, out-of-the-way church has no parking. A little hard to find, but it's definitely very pretty and well-maintained. The local community is quite small, mostly elderly. There's generally no reason to visit unless you're local.

Ci sono stata per una comunione. Fuori mano e senza parcheggio ma l'interno è un vero gioiellino
