The "C. De Mia" Municipal Library is the main cultural hub of Torino di Sangro: a place for reading, studying, and socializing located within the "Alda Merini" Cultural Center, along Corso Lauretano in the heart of town. Admission is free and open to everyone.

Named in 2005 after Camillo De Mia, a prominent figure in local culture, it was moved in 2010 to its current, larger, and better-equipped location, where it shares space with other areas dedicated to cultural activities and workshops.

Among its long-standing initiatives, every summer it organizes “La Biblioteca va in Lecceta, a series of outdoor readings within the Lecceta Regional Nature Reserve in Torino di Sangro—a way to bring books outside the walls, under the canopy of holm oaks, in one of the most picturesque natural areas of the Costa dei Trabocchi.

In 2025, the library received a ministerial grant of €15,836.98 for the purchase of new volumes, a sign of the Administration’s commitment to strengthening the library’s collection and cultural offerings for citizens, schools, and visitors.
