Via Orientale – Between the town and the coast, the daily heart of Torino di Sangro
Rising from Corso Lauretano toward the historic center, Via Orientale is one of the main thoroughfares of the town of Torino di Sangro. It stretches between the heart of the town and the access roads leading to the coast, serving as a strategic link between the historic district and the area’s nature trails.
The street was recently included in an urban renewal project, with initiatives aimed at improving safety, urban aesthetics, and traffic flow. The work is part of a broader municipal program to enhance the town and make it increasingly welcoming for residents and tourists alike.
Via Orientale is also an excellent starting point for exploring the surrounding area: from here, you can easily reach the Lecceta Nature Reserve, the Trabocchi Coast, the British cemetery, and the coastal hamlets.
